In January 1998, following the seizure of GHB near a college campus, the Office of the Attorney General convened the Emergency Campus Summit on Date Rape Drugs. Participants - including representatives from colleges, law enforcement, rape crisis centers, students groups, public agencies and the medical professions - discussed ways to prevent the influx of date-rape drugs from becoming a crisis.
A comprehensive report, Averting the Campus Date Rape Crisis: Seven Solutions for Colleges, Law Enforcement and Medical Professionals , arose out of those discussions. This report contains materials to help you act on this important issue Please distribute the report to those members of your campus or community.
