Helping Crime Victims

Workshops, Conferences & Training

Services for victims of crime and their families have become more accessible and inclusive over the years. Federal and state laws, along with national and local programs and organizations, have created a network of direct service providers to assist crime victims in recovering and rebuilding their lives.

The Office of the Illinois Attorney General has made it a priority to work together with elected officials, judges, attorneys, law enforcement personnel, crime victim advocates, and concerned citizens to identify challenges, share resources, and find solutions to strengthen this network of services for victims.

The Attorney General offers a number of workshops, trainings, and conferences throughout the State of Illinois addressing issues that affect crime victims. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, Crime Victim Compensation, Elder Abuse/Justice, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Firearms.

Below, you will find a list of our upcoming workshops, trainings, and conferences. This list is constantly being updated, so please check back for events in your area. For more information about upcoming crime victim workshops, please call 1-800-228-3368 (voice/TTY).
