The Environmental Bureau is charged with enforcement of Illinois environmental statutes and regulations, as they pertain to activities and facilities within or that affect the State of Illinois.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience, the salary range is $50,500 to $67,500. Attorneys must be licensed in the State of Illinois at the time of application in order to be eligible. Newly licensed attorneys are not eligible. Strong interest and experience in investigation, litigation and public policy is preferred, particularly with regards to environmental protection issues. An ideal candidate would be one with 3 or more years of litigation experience.
